Shenley Junior Squash Club had some notable success in the recent County U14 round robin tournament held at the Aylesbury Squash Club.

With the tournament attracting a large attendance of 32 players in all, the competitors were divided into groups of eight, with players coming up against all of their rivals throughout the afternoon. Each match was one game up to 15, using the Point A Rally scoring system.

Two Mile Ash student Joe Mason was drawn in group four and won all his of matches, while another TMA student, Josh Flux, was drawn in group three and won all of his matches except one, thus coming second in the group.

All eyes are on Aylesbury Squash Club on the weekend of June 8 and 9 when the County Association will be holding the county junior trials for boys and girls at U11, U13 and U15 levels.

Representing MK in the trials will be Josh Flux, Hamza Peeran and James Kettle in the U11s, Joe Mason, Shelby Anderson and Charlie Surman in the U13s, and Ritvik Bharamgoudar and Harry Hewitt in the U15s.
