Marshall Milton Keynes Athletic Club road runners featured highly in a number of local events.

Nadine Lewycky continued with her good form as she prepares for the Paris Marathon next month.

At the Banbury 15mile race she was first lady home and overall 15th with yet another personal best of 94.42.

In her wake came Russell Jones, 71st(112.46), Neil Jones 74th(113.02), Kelvin Smith 86th and 4th M60 (116.16), Julie Jones, 97th and 9th F45(118.03) and Maria Calleia, 106th(120.22).

The three ladies took second place in the female team race.

Nearer at home Graham Jones placed 2nd in the Leighton Buzzard 10km from a field of 219.

Quite a difference in the size of the field at the Reading Half-Marathon, one of the most popular aces over this distance, where over 13,300 finished.

Jeremy Vick ran a personal best of 76.59 to finish 192nd and Lara Bromilow, in her debut over this distance ran 81.56 placing 255th.

Lara’s time was just one second slower than the time set by Nadine just a few weeks ago in the Berkhamsted Half-Marathon and puts her at number seven on the club all-time ladies half-marathon rankings.
