Lara Bromilow was again the star for Marshall Milton Keynes AC at the National Cross-Country Championships held within the grounds of Wollaton Park, Nottingham.
This the final major club cross-country of the year attracting competitors from as far wide as Cornwall, The Borders, East Anglia and the south coast. The course was a good test for the runners with a combination of some undulating grassland running and a couple of really tricky muddy sections .
In the ladies 8km race Lara placed a really fine 43rd place from a field of almost 800 and is the third best individual position by a senior local female runner at these major championships and improving from her 49th in 2015.
