Bletchley knew they’d need a bonus point victory to wrench the title from Olney’s grips as they started the day more than 60 points adrift in points difference, but they made doubly sure.

The visitors wasted no time in taking the lead as Caroline Collie scored the first try of the afternoon after five minutes, with Rachael Taylor adding the extras.

Three minutes later, Jennie Davies scored the second try, with Taylor once again doing the honours.

The tries kept on coming, with Davies picking up her second, quickly followed by an Emma Taylor score and a second from Collie - all converted by Rachael Taylor to put Bletchley 35-0 up.

Edwardians did get on the scoreboard just before half time, but it would be the only time they troubled the scorers as they trailed 35-5 at the interval.

Collie completed her hat-trick early in the second half, as the flood gates opened and Bletchley ran riot.

Further scores from Rachael Appleby, two more from Davies and another from Collie took them to four apiece for the afternoon. Charlotte Gallop and Amie Daniels completed the rout as Bletchley did more than enough to lift the title.
