Brothers Rob and Chris Clarke from Kicks Taekwon-do Academy in Newport Pagnell struck gold at the UITF World Championships.
Chris, reigning British Champion in both Tuls and sparring, was first in action.
But despite Tuls being his favourite discipline, he came up short in the quarter finals.
He made it to the quarter final stage of the Veterans Heavy Weight Sparring competition too, eliminated by compatriot Wayne Burns.
Brother Rob was up next in the middle weight Sparring. After beating MWTA British champ Andy Cobley in the quarter final, he faced training partner Gary Denning in the semi finals.
But losing to his friend, he went on to take a bronze medal – his first at the World Championships.
The pair would get their chance to compete together later, and it was their opportunity to get their hands on a gold medal.
Together with team-mates David Belony and Darren Blake, Rob and Chris took to the mats in the four-man Veteran Team Sparring section.
The squad saw off teams from around the world to win straight rounds in every match, taking gold and winning their first World Championship title.
