Bulls test out their halo during Silverstone run
Red Bull's test driver Pierre Gasly carried out rudimental tests with a halo head protection device fitted to the RB12 on Tuesday.
Head protection devices are mooted to be introduced to F1 next season.
Gasly, who only completed one system-check lap with the halo installed, said: “For sure it looks different but from the inside of the car it doesn’t change much.”
Red Bull tested a windscreen device in Russia earlier this season, while Ferrari have pioneered the halo device, running it in pre-season testing as well as in the first free practice session at Silverstone last Friday.
