BBTA Taekwando School claimed three medalists as they travelled to the LTSI English Open earlier this month.
Back in action after her recent hat-trick of medals, Charlie Stewart (red belt 2nd kup) entered both categories and beat off stiff competition to return with two medals.
Her first category was the patterns (linked martial moves in a set sequence). She performed well and made it to the final to clinch a well earned silver.
Donning her sparring gear, Charlie won a number of bouts to earn a deserved bronze medal.
Father and son team, Ron Simpkin (black belt 1st dan) and Kanukai Mundle-Simpkin (red belt 1st kup) were also back in action donning sparring gear for their respective categories.
Both faced tough competition with Ron (in the heavyweight sparring category) battling through to take the bronze medal.
