Elsewhere, the Central Road Race League returned with the Spring Chicken event taking place on the Claydons circuit. A crash on the 2nd lap threatened to split the peloton, but most riders were able to make their way back on to the lead group. Tom Sefton of RP Vision Racing took the win, from Joshua Crow-Stewart (Hemel Hempstead CC) and Steve James (High Wycombe Cycling Club) claimed third place. Highest placed rider for an MK based team was Alexander Woods (Team Corley Cycles).

Finally, the second race in the National Bowl spring series saw a good turn out in the age category races from MK clubs. Results for the individual races are available on the British Cycling website.
