Some big hits were thrown by Cows blockers Katie Thomas and Victoria Griffith, as the Cows matched Cambridge hit for hit, but Cambridge went in at half time leading 86-20.
The Cows had a far better second half as jammers Harri Clarke and Rowene Fellows picked up points, with some athletic apex jumps wowing the crowd.
Cambridge remained strong however, and held out for a 191-76 point victory.
The Cows are currently in fifth position in the Women’s Tier 3 East division of the Champs.
