The sky is the limit for badminton ace Ethan Hosken.
The 10-year-old from Two Mile Ash is already ranked seventh in England for his age, and has been invited to take part in a training camp to represent his country - all just two years after picking up a racket for the first time.
His chance to represent England came in the form of a letter last month, and took everyone by surprise.
Mum Paula said: “I don’t think he really got it the first time we read it, but now he cannot wait.
“He’s such a confident player, but you can never tell by his mannerisms whether he’s winning or losing. He just takes it all in his stride.”
Earlier this month, Ethan took a silver medal at a national tournament in Hounslow, but walked away with gold around his neck in the doubles with playing partner Oliver.
