Great Brickhill slipped to the bottom of Division 1 after just eight overs could be bowled in their match with Buckingham on Saturday.
While some matches in the division managed to avoid the miserable weather which befell the area, Great Brickhill had to settle with six points, though it sees them drop to the bottom of the pile with just two games remaining.
The overs that could be bowled saw Great Brickhill at the crease, and they managed to score fairly quickly, considering the condition of the outfield.
Although they lost a wicket, Brickhill managed to put on 46 runs before the rain began to fall again, forcing the game into abandonment.
It is still all to play for though, with the bottom six all still within 21 points of Great Brickhill as the season enters it’s final two matches.
Wolverton remain in the second promotion spot in Division Two after a fine 91 run victory over Tiddington as the weather managed to stay clear long enough to get some action in.
Atif Akhlaq came up just shy of his half century, top scoring with 49 on as Wolverton made it to 189.
Incredibly, Sam Hollingshead took all 10 wickets for Tiddington for 65 runs.
In reply though, Tiddington were undone with the bat by Mohsin Hassan (4-21) as they collapsed to just 98 all out, handing Wolverton a 91 run victory.
Butt while Wolverton were able to get a game in, across town at Manor Fields, Bletchley’s game with Abingdon Vale was a wash-out.
Both teams had to settle with six points apiece but Bletchley remain rock bottom of the table.
