For Wolverton, Jude Ramanadan was the pick of the bowlers as he took 3-76.
Carter’s decision to declare and take the extra overs to bowl at Wolves turned out to be inspired as the visitors collapsed and offered little resistance.
Arjun Jhala was in fierce form for the home side, taking 4-35 as Wolverton had no answers for his bowling.
