A fantastic 158 not out from Willen’s Sam Marley was the highlight of the latest round of Milton Keynes Sunday League action.
His splendid knock, with support from Ben Whittaker (71 not out), saw Willen to a 10 wicket victory over Wicken in Division Three.
Wicken made 232-2 thanks largely to Liam Wright’s unbeaten 105, but it wasn’t enough as Willen won for the first time in the league this year on 234.
A fantastic 146 not out from Javed Iqbal helped MK United 2nds to a 249 run win over Milton Keynes in their Division Two clash, extending their 100 per cent record to four games as they remain top of the table.
United made 335-6 before MK were dismissed for 86 in reply, while Stony Stratford 2nds (177-9) beat Olney Town (174-5) by just three runs.
In Division One there were wins for leaders New Bradwell and MK United.
