Stony Stratford are now just one place above the Northants League Premier Division relegation zone after yet another defeat, this time against Geddington.
Stony made a stellar start by removing opener Mark Neave with no runs on the board, but that’d about where their successes ended.
Mark Steele and Chris Murdoch put on 102 for the next wicket, and it was another 111 runs before their next success as Geddington flexed their muscle. They eventually declared on 257.
The reply stuttered throughout. Only Jarrod Pretorious (63) added much resistance as Tiann Raubenheimer (5-71) ripped through the order.
Stony were eventually all out for 166 to lose by 91 runs, dropping them further down the Premier League order.
