Printers extended their already sizable lead at the top of Four Counties Division 2 with a dominant victory over Newport Pagnell.
Printers’ 100 run win over their neighbours sees them go even further clear of MK City, a gap that now sits at 76 points.
The home side were in total control from the off, scoring 230-8.
Newport Pagnell made a shaky start in their response, and it left them with a mountain to climb from early on.
Skipper Razzan Mohamed played a key part in the opening two wickets, first dismissing Liam Fox before running out fellow opener Paul Braddy.
Wickets fell regularly, with Newport limping at 34-4, though Lewis Heffron did his level best with an unbeaten 70 to help his side avoid absolute embarrassment.
But he couldn’t do it alone, and Newport were soon back in the pavilion, all out for 130.
Puras Paran was the pick of the bowlers in the response as he took 4-30 for Printers to take a full 30 points from the game.
MK City saw off Bromham in super-fast time to go second. Bromham were bowled out for just 26, with City (32-1) rattling off the runs in 2.5 overs.
Open University (262-7, Khuram Masood 83)) drew with North Crawley 2nds (231-9), while Cranfield University (179-8, Jonathan Fitzgerald 82 not out) crushed Old Bradwell (70) with Neelabha Chatterjee taking 5-7 in 4.5 overs.
