Cricketers pad up for season start

Champions North Crawley get the defence of their Four Counties Division 1 title underway against Eaton Bray on Saturday.

Alex Walker (pictured) takes over from Richard Bryce at the helm of the champions as they seek to retain their crown for the sixth season in a row.

Newly promoted Olney start life in Division 1 against Elstow, while Milton Keynes take on city rivals New Bradwell.

In Division 2, Newport Pagnell play Buckland & Aston Clinton, North Crawley 2nds play host to Bromham and Open University will play Printers.

Division 3 gets underway with Westcroft visiting Ivinghoe & Pitstone, Shenley Church End welcoming Whitchurch and Studham play Milton Bryan.
