It was a much improved team performance as they convincingly beat Hartlepool Mavericks 33-3 when they met at St George’s Park on Sunday.

The victory means that the Cyclones, with their attacking style of play, have a record of three wins, a draw and two losses so far.

The Cyclones’ 2nd team were unlucky, narrowly losing to second place Bewdley’s Virtue Empire 14-8, then, again, losing 15-9 to Leicester Minotaurs after being ahead in both games. The defeats leave them in eighth place in the league, with one win from their six games.
