Having won five in a row, Aylesbury wasted no time in setting about winning their sixth with an early Cory Neighbour try, converted by Dave Stow.

MK worked their way back into it with a try of their own, but another converted effort from the home side, this time Ben Dukes crossing over, gave the home side a 14-5 advantage at the interval.

Aylesbury extended their lead in the second half as Neighbour claimed his second try of the day, and with Stow kicking the extras made it 21-5.

As the game moved into the final quarter Liam d’Almeida dived over to secure the bonus point try and Stow maintained his 100% record as he added the extras to put Ay’s 28-5 up.

City however weren’t giving up and responded quickly with a try out wide to narrow the deficit to 28-10.

But a Stow penalty halted any thoughts of a late comeback as Aylesbury secured the 31-10 win.
