Finedon hold on to deny Stony Stratford a victory
Stony’s innings got off to a poor start as they lost James Pickles after just two balls, but put things back on track with Mark Hulbert (29) and Teja Nidamanuru (23).
Vicram Sohal though was the star of the innings, scoring a fine 80, but Stony’s tail failed to wag and they went from 196-6 to 227 all out.

Hide AdFinedon’s reply looked as though it could mount a challenge to Stony’s total, especially with Sean Davis (54) and Greig Hofbauer (58) hitting half centuries.
But Kamran Anwar’s second spell saw him take a vital 5-31 to leave the home side on the brink of defeat.
But defiant batting at the death saw Finedon hold on for 201-9 and a share of the points.
