Another loss for Newport Pagnell Town

Newport Pagnell Town's troubles in UCL Premier Division continued on Saturday as they were beaten 2-1 by Desborough Town.

After a goal-less first half, Fazel Koriya fired the Swans into the lead on 67 minutes.But the lead would only last five minutes as Dan White headed home from a corner to equaliser. And within four minutes of that, Desborough took the lead as Liam Boath turned home from close range.

The result leaves Newport Pagnell sitting 14th in the table. On Monday, they were drawn to face Newbury Forest in the FA Vase.

New Bradwell St Peter suffered a 5-1 thumping at the hands of Totternhoe in SSML Division 2 on Saturday. Totternhoe raced into a 4-0 lead at half time, and James Davey pulled one back in the second period beforeTotternhoe scored a fifth late on.

MK Gallacticos were also well beaten as they went down 4-1 to Aston Clinton, while Unite MK were hammered 4-0 by Pitstone & Ivinghoe.

Clean Slate remain without a point so far after losing 2-1 to The 61 FC.
