Appleton predicts a nervous affair when Dons visit Lincoln

Michael Appleton joked that while some Lincoln City get nervous when his side play passing football, they've seen nothing until they've watched MK Dons.

And the former Oxford United manager said while both sides look to play an attractive brand of football, he joked Dons make it a far more nervous prospect.

"They do look to play, and if some of our fans get nervous about how we do it, just wait until you see how they do!" he said. "They're a decent side. It should be a good, footballing game, two good teams on show and hopefully as good a game as we had last week in terms of atmosphere.

"It doesn't always mean a better game, it will depend how we press each other. But there is no doubt there should be some good football on display and hopefully some entertaining stuff."
