Brown buzzing with his first professional goal
He has been made to wait for a chance, let alone a goal, but Charlie Brown was over the moon with his first MK Dons strike to beat Northampton Town.
The 21-year-old had made six substitute appearances since signing from Chelsea in January, but a chance had not fallen to him in any of those games. Even a behind-closed-doors friendly against Cambridge in the week saw him starved of goal-scoring opportunities.

"I'm just buzzing to be honest!" he said afterwards. "It's my first professional goal, so I'm over the moon to get the three points for the team, and on a personal note, absolutely buzzing!
"I was having a laugh about it the other day – we had a friendly in the week and I didn't get a chance then either! I told the gaffer how excited I was for my first chance! I'm so glad I put it away.
"It was a different feeling. It was in League One, and it means something to the fans. Hopefully I can add loads more in the future.

"It's chance after chance here, we scored four goals today, so there will always be chances and it's up to me to put them in the back of the net."
Brown was one of five substitutes to make an appearance for Dons at Stadium MK, and after Ben Gladwin teed up Cameron Jerome to equalise, it was he who finished off Daniel Harvie's cross to win it for Russell Martin's side.
"He told us all that it'll be a squad effort so everyone has to chip in and play their part," Brown added. "I watched us go a goal down and knew it would be an uphill climb in that last 10 minutes. But we showed great character, and I'm delighted to be the one to get the winner!
"Cammy got a great goal as well, and the two substitutes got assists as well, so we all know we've got a part to play in this team."
