Here's how we rated the players.

. Top Don: Lee Nicholls - 8.5
A brilliant return to the side with a string of top-notch saves to keep Dons in the game until the death.

. Dean Lewington - 6.5
Played his team-mates into trouble on a number of occasions, and almost gifted Ashley Barnes the opener in the first half. Recovered but not at his best.

. Richard Keogh - 7.5
Shown the red card twice after VAR overturned his initial sending off. Used his experience to read the game well.

. George Williams - 8
Dons' best defender for the hour he was on the field. Great tackles, excellent in the air, barking orders to everyone.

. Regan Poole - 7
Decent at right wing-back, better at centre back when he shifted inside in the second half.

. Daniel Harvie - 6.5
A regular and useful outlet in the first half but his impact faded in the second as Burnley pressed on.

5. Regan Poole - 7
Decent at right wing-back, better at centre back when he shifted inside in the second half.

6. Daniel Harvie - 6.5
A regular and useful outlet in the first half but his impact faded in the second as Burnley pressed on.

7. Ben Gladwin - 7
Centimetres away from one of the great FA Cup goals when his strike his the post in extra time. Showed off his trickery and football brain with some smooth stuff in midfield.

8. Lasse Sorensen - 7
Looks like he has found his role in the side, thriving more defensively than in attack against the Premier League side.
