MK Dons may have been beaten at the Pirelli Stadium last season, but it was a game which helped convince Scott Fraser to make the move in summer.

Fraser was a part of the Burton Albion side which claimed a 1-0 win in January, but it was a game dominated by the visitors - arguably the first time the now regular trend experienced by Dons this season.

The sides cross paths at Stadium MK tomorrow (Saturday) with Dons sitting 17th in League One, while Burton are 22nd after a poor start to the campaign.

Dons boss Russell Martin expects a different looking Burton side to the one which his side took on earlier this year, thanks in large part to Dons' joint-top scorer.

"The reason we came out on the wrong side was Scott Fraser and Liam Boyce!" he said. "But that’s one of the reasons we end up signing Scotty. They had one shot and scored it, it was a frustrating evening – I got booked! It was a good performance, we’ve evolved since then.

"Burton are a really organised team. They work really hard for their manager and cover a lot of ground. It’ll be a good game and I’m really looking forward to it, they’ve got someone who knows the club as manager, who is making his own mark on the club. But it’s about us and how we put our stamp on the game.

"It’ll be different to last years game but I’d love the same amount of control and dominance."
