'Business as usual' at MK Dons during coronavirus warnings

As the coronavirus continues to cause disruption all over the world, MK Dons are operating as normal but are being 'extra vigilant' to avoid it.

Several sporting events have been forced into postponement due to the virus outbreak, but as yet, the footballing calendar in England remains untouched.

However, Dons boss Russell Martin said the players have been alerted to measures they can take to best avoid contracting it, but are continuing as normal.

"We're just following everything the EFL are telling us to do," he said. "Simon Crampton gave a talk to the lads the other day about being aware of it, the dos and don'ts, and the basic hygiene.

"We've got to be extra vigilant, so as far as we're concerned it's business as usual. The club have a duty to the staff and players to do everything we can to avoid anything."
