Clean Slate stay bottom after eight-goal thriller

Clean Slate remain rock bottom of SSML Division 2 after losing an eight-goal thriller with Pitstone & Ivinghoe on Saturday.

Slate have won just twice all season, accruing seven points from 20 games, but didn’t make life easy for mid-table Ivinghoe, pushing them the whole way.

Jake Pym netted twice, and Emmanuel Dahie got the other for Clean Slate, but it wouldn’t be enough as they went down 5-3.

Unite MK remain 14th in the table despite going down 2-0 to sixth place Enfield Borough, with both goals coming in the first half.

Old Bradwell climbed to seventh with a 1-0 win over Amersham Town.

Alex Feaver scored the only goal of the game after 34 minutes, converting a penalty.

This Saturday, Clean Slate take on Loughton Manor, MK Gallacticos face St Neots Reserves, Old Bradwell face Mursely, Unite MK face Tring Corinthians and New Bradwell St Peter visit Tring Town AFC.
