The closure of restaurants in the UK came at a 'horrific' time for MK Dons manager Russell Martin after his new restaurant in Brighton was forced to shut its doors after just four days.

Erpingham House opened their second restaurant in Martin's hometown, with the first in Norwich. But after extensive rejuvenation work to their Brighton cafe, it was forced to close after less than a week.

"We were open for four days, so this all came at a horrific time for us," said Martin. "Our chef had just moved here from LA with his wife too. We've been helped out with the government grants, so we've been trying to help out our staff with the money there, but because we've not been open long enough we can't apply for some things.

"I think it will change the way people live their lives. We are realising what we need, what we don't need, and I think that will make a big difference. I may be wrong, and people may go back to their old ways within a few days again, but I hope we can all appreciate what is important."
