Having already qualified ahead of their final group game against Norwich last week, Richie Barker fielded a second-string squad against the Canaries despite rules stating he must field five players from the previous or next game - Dons fielded four for the dead rubber.

While Portsmouth and Luton were fined £15,000 for breaches in all three games, Dons were joined by Bradford, Blackpool, Bristol Rovers, Millwall, Charlton, Peterborough, Sheffield United, Southend and Fleetwood in netting £3,000 fines.
