Though they are counterparts this weekend, both Darren Moore and Russell Martin have similar predictions ahead of MK Dons' clash with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Following a 1-1 draw at the Keepmoat Stadium back in December, both sides have made considerable changes to their sides and head to Stadium MK expecting a different game to the one three months ago.

“Saturday’s game should be a really good one. Both clubs have come a long way this season,” Moore said.

“Russell is stamping his authority on the team. He’s fresh, bright and energetic and the players are responding to that.

“He’s got wonderful ideas and got great players that play some great stuff and they’re starting to look like a really solid, effective outfit.

“Their home record is very, very good, but we feel within out camp that we’ve got players that can expose and hurt them but we’ll have to be good to get those players into positions so that they can have maximum impact.

“They’ve starting to make headway in the division so it will be a difficult game for us.”

Martin added: "We're now playing teams we've played already, and it's a gauge for us on how we're doing and how we've changed.

"Both teams are further along in their processes. Doncaster have picked up some great results, they've got a good manager and have lots of good players. They'll be a threat, it will be tough but I think they're coming up against a team a lot further along their process as well, and I think we've improved since that last game."

On the game at the Keepmoat Stadium, Martin added: "I was gutted not to get the three points, but tomorrow will be completely different.

"It was one of our better performance away from home, and it was really disappointing to concede so late. It still sticks with me."
