MK Dons more than doubled their expenditure in 2019/20 on agents' fees than they did a year earlier.

The FA today released the list of fees clubs paid from February 1, 2019, to January 31, 2020, where it revealed Dons spent £142,200. That fee is up nearly £62,000 on the £80,263 from the previous season in League Two.

It lists Dons seventh in overall spending, with Sunderland out in front by a long margin, having spent more than £1.3 million in 12 months. Bolton Wanderers, who nearly went out of business early last season, were the only club in the EFL to not spent any money in agent's fees.

For Dons, the fees come from dealings with Kieran Agard, Regan Poole, Rhys Healey, Ben Reeves, Hiram Boateng, Jordan Bowery, Brennan Dickenson, Joe Mason and the new contract for David Kasumu.
