MK Dons manager Russell Martin has been charged after he was sent off at the full-time whistle against Burnley on Saturday.

Martin approached referee Jon Moss following Matej Vydra's stoppage time equaliser at Turf Moor sent the game to extra time, but earned the manager a red card.

He has now been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E3.

An FA statement read: "It is alleged that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official at the end of normal time and his behaviour in failing to leave the field of play and/or the technical area after subsequently being dismissed amounts to improper conduct.

"Russell Martin has until Friday 15 January 2021 to provide a response."

If found guilty, Martin could face a fine and/or a touchline ban.
