Now in the dugout for Dons, Martin sees his former club sitting second in League One while Dons are 20th. But despite the gulf in the table, Martin feels his side have what it takes to take the game to Wycombe and pick up some points from their high-flying rivals.

"For us, we've been good at home, we had a big win on Tuesday and we have to build on that," Martin continued. "We're prepared, we know what to expect, having played them twice already this season and we'll be ready for them.

"I think it will be a good game. If you look at their position, they'll have exceeded all expectations and probably other people's as well. They're a good side, it will be a tough game for us. I'm sure with the position they're in, they'll bring good support as well. I'm looking forward to it, a good atmosphere and a good game of football.

"I'm confident that if we perform like we have been doing at home, it's a game we can get some points from."
