MK Dons should have been comfortable winners against Peterborough United on Tuesday night, according to Warren O'Hora.

Despite seeing off the opening 15 minutes, which has been Dons' Achilles Heel this season, without conceding, it was with Peterborough's second attack which saw the home side fall behind again - the 14th time in 18 league outings - after 25 minutes.

Despite Dons' domination of the game, Cameron Jerome netted an equaliser 12 minutes from time for a share of the spoils, but it was a game O'Hora felt Dons should have easily won.

He said: "It doesn't take a genius to see we can get results against anybody. Peterborough are in the top four and probably thought they could just turn up and get three points. But for the first 20 minutes, their heads were going a bit and they didn't know what to do.

"We needed to start the game well and we felt we did that. Their goal might have controversy behind it but we it happens in football. We did so well to get the goal in the second half and we probably should have gone on to win it but sometimes you need the rub of the green and we didn't get that.

"It's a 1-0 or a 2-0 win if we don't concede. They sat back in the second half to hold on to their lead. If that's 0-0, they're coming out even more and with the way we play, we'd have picked them off. We have to stop conceding in the first half, in the first 25 minutes would be great."
