Game ended too soon as Dons sought out a winner

A win would have seen Dons climb above Shrewsbury in the table, and though they remain 19th, the four teams below them all lost, meaning they are 10 clear of the relegation zone, and now four above AFC Wimbledon, who were beaten 2-1 by Fleetwood. Tranmere Rovers were beaten 2-1 at home to Portsmouth, Southend lost 2-1 to Blackpool and Bolton went down 2-1 to Coventry City.

While the bottom four lost, all of the top six were victorious. Rotherham continue to lead the way after beating Lincoln City 1-0 in the Friday night clash at Sincil Bank, but saw their lead cut back to three points with Wycombe's 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers. Peterborough are third after a crushing 4-0 win over Karl Robinson's Oxford United, and Sunderland jumped Ipswich into the final play-off spot thanks to their 1-0 win over the Tractorboys.

Burton Albion and Gillingham played out a 0-0 draw at the Pirelli Stadium, and Doncaster draw 1-1 at home to Rochdale.
