A dismal first half performance from MK Dons saw them drop into the League One relegation zone on Saturday as they went down 2-0 to Crewe Alexandra.

Goals from Mikael Mandron and Oliver Finney saw the Railwaymen comfortably home as Dons fell to 22nd in the table with just a point to their name from a possible nine. It also extends their winless-streak away from home to 17 games.

Below Dons sit only Rochdale, who were beaten 2-0 by table-toppers and Dons' next opponents Ipswich Town, and Bristol Rovers who were thumped 4-1 at the hands of Doncaster who are up to third. Hull's 2-0 win over Northampton puts them second.

Joining Dons, Dale and Rovers in the drop zone are Portsmouth who are still seeking their first win of the season after losing 2-1 at home to Wigan. Shrewsbury are level on two points with them having drawn 1-1 with Plymouth, who sit ninth.

Sunderland picked up their second win in a row, seeing off Peterborough 1-0 at the Stadium of Light to sit fourth, ahead of Lincoln who play Charlton later today (Sunday) and Swindon who beat Burton 4-2.

Gillingham saw off Blackpool 2-0, while Fleetwood were beaten 1-0 by AFC Wimbledon, and Oxford put aside travel issues to thump Accrington 4-1.
