MK Dons have outlined how returning fans will be able watch their teams live in forthcoming games when Covid-19 restrictions on sporting events are lifted next week.

Milton Keynes has been placed into tier 2 by the government, meaning 2,000 supporters will be allowed into Stadium MK for the first time on December 8 when Dons take on Norwich U21s in the Papa John's Trophy.

But with 4,000 Dons season ticket holders, it will mean around half of the fanbase will have to miss out on some of the league games included with their season ticket.

The club have therefore established a tier system of their own to allocate tickets, with those who have left their money with the club during the shut-out being given top priority when it comes to applying for forthcoming games. However, a ballot is will required with the number of supporters currently in excess of that 2,000 limit.

Tickets for the Papa John's Trophy are not included in the price of a season ticket, but will be distributed in a similar fashion to the league fixtures.

Fans will be contacted by the club in coming days for their ticket requests.
