Dons fans give Cisse '˜more power' on field
Dons midfielder Ouss Cisse says it '˜gives him more power' on the pitch when the fans sing his name.
The Mali international has been a man reborn this season, not just on the pitch but on the terraces too, going from scapegoat to cult-hero, following his late minute winner against Bury and a string of impressive performances in Paul Tisdale’s side.
He was also handed the captain’s armband during the Checkatrade Trophy game against Peterborough last week.
Answering questions from supporters on MK Dons’ Facebook page, Cisse said: “It means a lot. Every game they see me, they are happy and they are singing my name.
“I like it when they chant my name - it gives me more power.
“Tis wants me to go forward more and that has given me a chance to express myself around the box.
“When he came, I knew he was going to be a good manager.
“He thinks a lot and he knows what we need to do on the pitch. I like how he sees football too.”
