Russell Martin wants MK Dons to add to Plymouth's misery tomorrow at Home Park.

Argyle have lost six straight in League One, plummeting to 19th - though level with Dons on points in 15th - in the standings after a strong start to the campaign.

Without a win in the league since November 3, Plymouth have picked up just a point since, losing to Lincoln, Rochdale and Ipswich at Home Park since.

Dons have lost just one of their last four games on the road, and Martin wants his side to capitalise on Plymouth's current misfortunes.

"Plymouth started really well, but they've had a big dip which happens," he said. "We have to take advantage of that. Before their recent run, they've had a fantastic home record under this manager and his team can play really good stuff, but we have to take advantage when teams are in a bad run.

"We've been in OK form ourselves, we've lost two in the last 10 or so, and we have to convert more of these draws into wins.

"I hope the boys are feeling confident, they have put in some really good performances recently. I'm really pleased with the players. We've only had a 20-25 minute spell against Burton we didn't like recently.

"We go down there really confident of what we're capable of, with a lot of belief in what we're doing."

With a lengthy journey to Home Park for Saturday's game, Dons left for Devon this morning (Friday) and will train en route to the ground - a slight change to their usual travel plans.

Martin continued: "We're travelling this morning and training on the way. Training and then sitting on the coach for four or five hours is a real slog for the boys, so we're going to do it about halfway. It's different for us, it's not something we do all the time.

"We've had two days of recovery, and the guys who didn't play on Tuesday night had a good day at work on Wednesday. Everyone's ready and looking forward to tomorrow."
