Louis Thompson and Kieran Agard are the only two players who remain out of contention through injury as MK Dons boss Russell Martin can boast an almost fully fit squad again.

After late-game cameos from Ben Gladwin and Scott Fraser last week against Lincoln City, Martin saw George Williams and Richard Keogh back training this week, putting themselves into contention to play against Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.

It leaves just Thompson and Agard, both of whom suffered injuries during pre-season, on the injured list, though the pair were back running on grass this week as their recoveries progress.

Martin said: "Everyone is fit except for Louis Thompson and Kieran Agard – but they have both been running on the grass this week. We had a few walking wounded at the weekend but everyone is fine and training.

"It's great to have George and Richard back in the squad. Richard has brought so much energy and positivity to the squad and rubs off on the group. He's desperate to play, as is George who is back up to speed. They will need game time, they can't just be chucked back in after a long time out. It's good to have them both back in the squad.

"Scott looks more and more impressive during training, his attitude, focus, intensity and want to improve. I'm so pleased with him, but he has only been back for a couple of weeks and it would still be asking a lot for him to start a game. We're desperate to get him on the pitch because he will be a top performer.

"It's great to have Ben back too. He's desperate to impress and back in contention."
