Dons kick-off their League One season away at Doncaster

MK Dons will return to League One action on Saturday September 12 when they head to Doncaster Rovers for the opening day of the season.

Ironically, their last game of the curtailed 2019/20 season was at home to Darren Moore's side when they lost 1-0 to a Jacob Ramsey strike.

Dons' first home game sees them come head-to-head with Joe Walsh and Conor McGrandles again when they host Lincoln on September 19 before a trip to Crewe rounds out the first month.

The typically busy Christmas period sees Dons at Plymouth on December 19, at home against Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day, away at Swindon on December 29 and at Rochdale on January 2.

Games against AFC Wimbledon provisionally fall on Saturday October 31 at Stadium MK and Saturday January 30 away, while just a month separates the two games against Peterborough, with the home game on December 15 and the trip to London Road on January 16.

They round out the season with a home game against Swindon on April 24, away at Fleetwood on May 1 before finishing the regular campaign at home to Rochdale on May 8.
