MK Dons are up to 19th in League One thanks to their first League One win of the campaign on Saturday.

Goals from Cameron Jerome and Carlton Morris ensured safe passage past Gillingham in the day's early kick-off, which lifted Russell Martin's side as high as 17th in the standings. However, that would change when the rest of the division kicked off at 3pm.

Charlton's 1-0 win over Wigan and Shrewsbury's late winner against AFC Wimbledon saw Dons drop back down to 19th, above both of their opponents coming up this week.

Oxford, where Dons visit on Tuesday night, dropped to the bottom of the pile as they were beaten 2-0 by Peterborough at London Road, while Blackpool, where Dons go next Saturday, were held to a 1-1 draw by Crewe.

Burton drew 1-1 with Bristol Rovers, Northampton conceded late to lose 2-1 to Plymouth, while Rochdale were beaten 3-0 by Hull to make up the relegation zone.

At the sharp end, Ipswich stay top, a point clear of Hull, after beating Accrington 2-0, while Lincoln are down to third after being held to a 0-0 draw by Fleetwood.

Sunderland are up to fifth after beating Swindon 2-0 at the County Ground, and Doncaster are up to seventh after beating Portsmouth 1-0 at Fratton Park.
