Russell Martin said Dons will prepare to travel to Spotland to take on Rochdale on Saturday until they are told otherwise.

An outbreak of Covid-19 in the Rochdale squad forced off games against Blackpool on Boxing Day and Crewe Alexandra tomorrow night, with it looking increasingly likely Dons' game in the New Year following suit.

However, Dons boss Martin said his players cannot afford to take training lightly in the coming days - after their trip to Swindon Town on Tuesday - in case the game goes ahead and they head north unprepared.

"We'll cross whatever bridge we have to when we get to it," he said. "We're waiting on their test results, so we'll have to wait and see.

"At the moment, we're preparing the players for three games in a week. We cannot even consider it's off at the moment. Our focus is on Swindon but after that, we'll see what happens with Rochdale."
