MK Dons will be looking to make up for lost points on Saturday when they take on Doncaster Rovers at Stadium MK.

Cameron John equalised five minutes from time to cancel out Alex Gilbey’s goal shortly after half time in the 1-1 draw at the Keepmoat Stadium in December.

It would have been the first win for Dons under Russell Martin’s leadership, but they were made to wait another week before beating Oxford United.

“It was one of our best performances and we deserved to win it I think,” said Ryan Harley.

“It was a good performance. It’s the first game we’ve not had the majority of the ball. I thought we looked really good, and they offered a different threat.

“It will be completely different against Doncaster, a team that look to play a bit more.

“Hopefully, we can dominate the ball. They’re a good side, it will be a tough game.”

Despite coming within five minutes of picking up their first away win since September, Dons are still relying on home form to help them evade relegation from League One.

The gap now stands at 11 points to Tranmere, though Rochdale and AFC Wimbledon are both between Dons and the bottom three as well.

Harley continued: “There is always a threat (of relegation). If we don’t get a result on Saturday and other teams win, you never are safe. There is a long way to go.

“We’ve generally played well away, we just haven’t quite done enough to get the win. At home, we’ve been dominant and hopefully Saturday will be the same.”
