MK Dons picked up a vital point on the road at league leaders Rotherham on Saturday to move 11 points clear of the relegation zone.

With Dons drawing 1-1 at the New York Stadium, they closed in on Lincoln City above them and are now just two points adrift, while moving another point clear of Tranmere in the final relegation spot. Rovers have two games in hand over Dons though, and did not play against Fleetwood due to a waterlogged pitch at Prenton Park. AFC Wimbledon's stoppage time winner against Gillingham moved them within three points of Russell Martin's side.

Rotherham are a point clear of Coventry in second spot, but the Sky Blues do not play until tomorrow (Sunday) when they take on Sunderland at St Andrews. A win would have sent Wycombe Wanderers to the top of the pile, but they were humbled 3-1 by Doncaster Rovers, as Oxford snuck into the final play-off spot beating Southend 2-1 at the Kassam Stadium, jumping Peterborough, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Burton.

Shrewsbury jumped to 15th with a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers, Blackpool beat Ipswich 2-1 at Bloomfield Road and Bolton shared a goal-less draw with Accrington Stanley.
