Liam Boyce strike after 20 minutes was the difference on the scoreboard as Dons prodded and probed to no avail. Here's how the players rated.
5. Top Don: Callum Brittain - 8
Brittain back to his best. Quick-feet and attacking, he kept Akins in his pocket as Dons looked to capitalise down his flank.
6. Jordan Houghton - 7
Sat deeper, almost as a third centre back, in the first half but was given much more freedom in the second half as Burton stood off.
7. Conor McGrandles - 7
Made a slow start but grew into a key man in midfield, often breaking down Burton's attempts to get forwards. Clipped the woodwork with a great freekick.
8. Alex Gilbey - 7
No signs of his Coventry injury, Gilbey was once again the midfield driving force. Saw a few shots deflected wide.
