A dominant voice in a silent stadium. Had precious little to really do, made a good stop from a free kick, and played out very well.
. Matthew Sorinola - 7.5
Continues his progress from last season, impressing when given a shot at left back. Won the penalty, caused Coventry's defence problems all afternoon.
. Baily Cargill - 6.5
Perhaps can shoulder some blame for Coventry's goal, but otherwise showed signs of being back to the player he threatened to be in 2018.
. Dean Lewington - 7
Assured and reliable as ever from the captain, playing in the heart of the defence.
5. John Freeman - 6.5
A decent debut for the 19-year-old. Played Cargill into trouble for Coventry's goal but a good show playing out of position.
6. Callum Brittain - 7
More of the same from Brittain. Looked tricky and had a good battle with the Coventry left-back as the pair went toe-to-toe.
7. Jordan Houghton - 6.5
A typically Houghton performance - did his duties almost anonymously. Perhaps lucky to remain on the pitch with a late tackle to earn a booking.
8. David Kasumu - 7
Threw himself into some big tackles, battled hard in the centre. Justified his new single-digit squad number.
