Dons set to land transfer target in the coming days

MK Dons are set to complete their second deal of the transfer window in the next few days, Luke Williams has confirmed.

After signing Ethan Laird, a 19-year-old defender from Manchester United, on Friday, Dons have moved swiftly to land a second target before this weekend's game at Peterborough.

Asked if Dons were close to any further business, Williams said: "It's likely, we're close to agreeing things with one of our targets. Maybe in the next couple of days we can announce something."

Dons are in need of a striker, with Carlton Morris being sold by parent club Norwich to Barnsley last week.
