MK Dons will face Sunderland in the quarter-finals of the Papa John's Trophy next month.

The Black Cats will visit Stadium MK twice in a week, with the League One fixture set for Saturday February 6 - just a few days after they play for a spot in the final four of the Trophy.

Dons secured their spot in the last eight with a win over Northampton, while Sunderland beat Port Vale.

When the sides met earlier this season, Dons ended their 14-month away-day drought with a 2-1 victory at the Stadium of Light in November.

Elsewhere in the draw, Peterborough will travel to Tranmere Rovers, Oxford United host AFC Wimbledon and League One leaders Hull play second placed Lincoln City.
