Emery scores seven in two as Swans run riot

After their 6-1 humbling at the hands of South Shields, the Swans returned to the bread and butter of league action, and started their week with the intent of getting their season back on track.

The had to come from behind on Saturday though as they fell a goal behind to Oadby Rangers and trailed at the break.

But the second half would be a different story as Newport ran riot. Oliver Wilkinson equalised just before the hour, and Elliot Sandy fired Swans into the lead two minutes later.

Emery would come off the bench though and score a remarkable hat-trick to complete the 5-1 rout.

It took him just 18 minutes on Tuesday to complete his second hat-trick of the week in the 6-0 demolition of Northampton Sileby Rangers.

Emery would end the night with four in total, while Dom Lawless and Darryl Smith completed the scoring for Newport.
