MK Dons do not need to sell again during this transfer window, but Dons boss Russell Martin cannot rule out more players being sold this summer.

After the surprise departure of two-time Player of the Year Alex Gilbey to Charlton a couple of weeks ago, Martin said everyone has a price and he couldn't rule out the sales of other players.

Rumours surfaced last week of a potential bid from Rotherham for last season's top scorer Rhys Healey which amounted to nothing, but with inevitable interest, Martin said everybody has a price.

"Never say never – the window goes on for a long time," he said. "One or two will be obvious that they won't play much if they end up staying, so they'll look for opportunities elsewhere.

"We're not in a position where we have to sell to do anything but everyone in this current period in football has a price and is available. I want to say that because I don't want to set anyone up for a surprise if someone were to come in for one of our players, like Charlton did with Alex, with a valuation we deem fair, we have to be ready.

"It's up to us to have a plan if someone does leave at any point. But I'm ready, I'm relaxed, the owner is relaxed about it, we'll have to wait and see what comes. Hopefully, we'll keep our best players. But if something comes in which is good for the club and we can build moving forward with, that's what happens."
